That depends on which division you wish to play in. There are two; 35+ and 45+. A 55+ division has been started. You must be at that age of that division on or before December 31 of the current year.
The skill level various depending on which division. The 35+ are younger so throw harder. The 45+ are a bit older and there are many that can throw pretty well. I'm guessing the speeds can vary between 55 and 65.
The board has been working on getting better fields to enjoy the game on. The average cost is $250 for each player.
Yes. Typically around late March or early April.
The fields we play on are around the Vancouver area and a couple may be just north of the city. Check out the Fields & Facilities page.
We primarily play on Sundays with times typically 10 am & 4:00 pm. The games last between 2.5 to 3 hours. There may be a couple of mid-week games. This may be utilized to ensure we get our games in especially if it's been a rainy season. Of course, it all depends on field availability as well.

This is done by the Coach/Manager of that team that has permissions via their account. Find your team to score. Select the Game Schedule sub-tab. Under the Status column, click on the "time of the game". Scroll down and choose Quick Score. Here are steps in a PDF if you're using the SportsEngine App.
Yes. You will be asked to sign in if you have an account. If you don't, you will need to create one before proceeding. Then, be sure to review/sign-off the player conduct, waiver & release forms during the registration. Remember, the registration process is not a payment process. Payments need to go to managers who then sends in a team payment.
If you're already in the system, then all you need to do is log in and assign yourself to a team for the current season. If your team is not listed, then the coach/manager needs to build his team and assign themselves to the team so others can do the same. Then you will need to register for the current season once the season registration opens up. Having an account is different than registering. Each player will need to register each season using their account.
You will need a SportsEngine account which you should have one if you have registered previously. Your account will then need to be configured as administrative or Coach settings. From there you can use a laptop or smart phone to add players to your team. NOTE: once you create your account or log in, you are not automatically registered for the season. Each player needs to register for the current season. Registration & a SportsEngine account are two different things. Here's also a help sheet [PDF].
